About Us
Even at a young age the great outdoors called to me. I preferred to be outside instead of inside. I was lucky! I grew up during a time when children were told to not come home until the streetlights came on with minimal adult supervision as we ran around and explored. It was epic!!!
We would play in the empty fields. Weave in and out of trees between properties. Dance in the rain. The smells, the sounds, the dirt, the grime, the flowers, the bugs, and everything else that came with playing outside.
I didn’t know there was such a thing as hiking until after college. Maybe it was because of where I grew up. Maybe it was because I had other interests and wasn’t paying attention. I dabbled for years. Camping, backpacking, and hiking. I loved them all and then life happened…
It wasn’t until 2024 that I picked up my pack and poles again. Even though I’m now an adult, each trail that I have the pleasure of experiencing I look at it in such wonder and excitement. I know not all trails are glorious, or are ones I’m able to tackle, but they each have their own story and charm.
In 2025, I was able to hike more than I have ever had the opportunity to. It was this renewed passion and the love of the community that led me to create this space.
This space will change and morph as time goes by as I discover new and amazing products or have the ability to partner with brands that help us keep that wonder and excitement going while we are on the trail.
